The Traveler Service is a global IP roaming service allowing the clients to connect to the Internet in over 7000 points of presence (PoP) in 150 countries. For the users of the Traveller service, the connection to the Internet is established by means of a special software (Dialler) provided by our company. Using this program users are provided with the list of PoPs for which the connection is possible. The PoP list is automatically updated upon connecting.

In order to access the service, after the connection was made, the log in the user will introduce a user name and a password in the Dialler program, such as username@realm and a password. The accessing of the service will be possible only if the user name and password have been correctly introduced after user authentication. The connection speed depends on the connection type, maximum 56 kbit/s or ISDN 64 kbit/s over PSTN, and 9,6 kbit/s over GSM.

After the user has been identified and the connection was established, the client can navigate on the World Wide Web (www), use the File Transfer Protocol (FTP), receive and send e-mails, access resources (IP VPN or servers) on his own company.

The accessing of the Traveller service allows the client to use any type of application and/ or client – server encrypting system during the session.

The Traveller service does not provide the users with any implicit encrypting code, even though the access of the user to the resources of the company would be conducted through the private virtual network of the company (IP VPN), and the encrypting is performed by using IP-sec.

The client is free to implement and use his own encrypting software programs under Traveller in order to ensure a secured connection.
